The Role

We are looking for a first-class Business Development Manager, South Australia to join the team. While our core team is based in Sydney, you will be one of our few remote team members and tasked with building & servicing the South Australia market. Ideally based in Adelaide or close to, you will be comfortable travelling within SA as needed. You will be passionate about joining a high-growth start-up in the non-bank lending space and thrive in a fast-paced, fun & greenfields environment.

In particular, you will:

  • Be responsible for developing our emerging presence in South Australia. You will be instrumental in establishing Bridgit as the number 1 bridging finance solution to the broker market.
  • Build relationships with all on panel aggregators: many existing with room to grow and develop further
  • Educate the channel on bridging finance and our unique solution. We want you concept and deliver strategies that are one-to-many as well as one-to-one
  • Make sure Bridgit are at all relevant events & PD days, represent us well, and find opportunities to build our footprint even further
  • Stretch both high & low: help shape our regional sales strategy while also making sure you’re delivering on core BD activities
  • Meet (and smash!) all targets set

A bit about you:

  • You have at least 3 years experience in the 3rd party mortgage channel, with experience in non-bank lending a huge plus
  • Possess a strong network of aggregators & brokers within SA. You know the market, players, growth areas and can help build a regional plan
  • Friendly, energetic, authentic and helpful approach to your work
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally
  • Someone with a track record of getting it done. We are output focused.
  • You are self sufficient, self motivated, and are enthused, not intimidated by helping us build our presence in a greenfields market
  • Demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen, providing valued insights and strategic direction making.
